Back to topCelebrating Author Gary Bogue, an Evening with Artist Chuck Todd: October 24
Benicia Literary Arts, partnering with Bookshop Benicia, continues its series of thought-provoking author talks. Our next event will be held at Bookshop Benicia on Thursday, October 24, at 7 p.m., and will celebrate the late author Gary Bogue, and his recent book, Is That a Skunk? Local artist Chuck Todd will share what it was like working with the noted wildlife advocate on the book, and insights about the book's production and artwork.
In this charming picture book, Lucas and his family adjust to their new urban wildlife neighbor ... a SKUNK! Along the way they learn all about these surprisingly amiable animals: their favorite things to eat, their preferred places to stay, their friends and enemies, and even how to get rid of their smell. https://www.isthataskunk.com/
