Dear Customers,

After much reflection, Bookshop Benicia will be temporarily closed starting Tuesday, March 17th. We anticipate being closed 1 week, and then will reassess and keep you updated. 

Our priority in the face of COVID-19 is to help keep our community safe and healthy. We’ll be answering the phone and returning voice and email messages during the closure, so please don’t hesitate to contact us. The shop is open today (Sunday, March 15th) 11-5 and tomorrow 11-3.  

During this closure, we’ll continue to serve in several ways: *You can shop for books and audiobooks online. (Please do!)

*If you have a loved one you think would benefit from a book delivery, simply purchase online and provide their address. This can be a lovely way to show kindness as folks are social distancing ~ who doesn’t love a surprise book delivery? Let’s lift up the Benicia community with books! Delivery is free and available within Benicia.

*You can purchase Gift Certificates in any denomination over the phone or email. Call us at 707-747-5155 or email bookshopbenicia@hotmail.com. You can choose to have your G/C mailed or held at the shop for future pick-up. Gift Certificates are a fantastic way to support all small businesses at this time.

*If you’d like a puzzle, game or other non-book item, call or email us. We can provide options and delivery. *If you’ve placed a special order, we’ll contact you for your address and deliver it within Benicia.
