About the Author


Sir Walter Scott, was a Scottish historical novelist, playwright and poet. Many of his works remain classics and include Ivanhoe, Rob Roy, Waverley, The Heart of Midlothian and The Bride of Lammermoor. Graham Tulloch is Emeritus Professor of English at Flinders University and has published books and articles on Scottish language and literature. He has edited Walter Scott's Ivanhoe, Marcus Clarke's His Natural Life and Catherine Martin's An Australian Girl as well as co-editing several texts with Judy King.
