Praise For…

This book is about the American spirit, embodied in the men and women who fought in World War II. Henry Bloch, through his early life and his decision to join the fight for freedom, especially exemplifies this spirit...Henry's story is unique but gives us insight into why we call this the Greatest Generation.
Richard B. Myers, General, USAF.(Ret.), 15th Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff
