About the Author
Sue LaNeve lives aboard the trawler, m/v Freebird on Boca Ciega Bay in St. Petersburg, FL. She earned an MFA degree in Writing for Children and Young Adults at The Vermont College of Fine Arts and a degree in Psychology from the University of Florida. Besides writing for children, she is a technical writer, a biographer, and a merchant marine captain. Her debut novel, SPANKY: A Soldier's Son won the Military Writer's Society of America Bronze medal.
