Technology is an integral and crucial component of every school librarian's work every day. Technology and the School Library is a comprehensive overview of the types of technologies used in school libraries, from traditional low-tech options to the latest developments, describing how school librarians interact with these technologies. This thoroughly revised and updated third edition addresses the continuously changing nature of technology, including new information on 1:1 initiatives, Chromebooks, mobile devices, and current trends in technology integration throughout schools. Major topics covered in this volume include information resources in the school library, varieties of educational software, resources available via the web, and the importance of creating a web presence.
