Margaret Aycock is an Impressionist oil painter. She has taught drawing and painting for over 30 years in Tulsa at Zieglers, Gilcrease Museum, and TCC, and to children through the Arts and Humanities program, Artists in the Schools. Margaret also works as an artist in residence at Kaiser Rehab and the High Risk Pregnancy Unit at Hillcrest Hospital's Arts in Healing Program. Margaret has had representation in galleries across the country and presently represents herself in her online gallery which features her work and that of other fine artists in Oklahoma. (https: //midwest-fine-art.com) and through her blog at https: //margaretaycock.com. Subject matter for her work includes florals, landscape, seascape, still life, portraits/figures, and interiors. Several years ago her painting, "Sunset on the Tall Grass Prairie" was chosen to travel with Paint America's Paint the Parks Exhibition. She is an active member of an online Daily Painters group where she displays a steady stream of 6x6, one object studies, Oklahoma sky paintings, and mini landscapes. She accepts commissions for painting landscapes, gardens, portraits and still lifes of her client's collections of family heirlooms.
