About the Author


Kado Muir is an Aboriginal man from Leonora in Western Australia. Kado grew up living in the bush (Australian Outback) with his parents. He learnt all the important survival skills of Aboriginal Australians, how to track animals, how to hunt, how to prepare food, how to conserve water and how not to get lost. Today Kado lives in the modern world sharing his cultural knowledge and experience with others so that they might learn and appreciate Australian Aboriginal culture, heritage and history. He is an author, social justice activist, artist and anthropologist.
