Description
"be beast with me" is the eighth in the series of "poems for Emma". It speaks of the goddess, of trauma, of mental illness, of deviancy, & of healing. There are no epigraphs, but the book also discusses intensity & becomings-animal, so the influence from Lyotard & from Deleuze & Guattari is still very present. Mostly though, this is a book of devotion to McLean's goddess, Emma, & to the great goddess herself; nameless, faceless, & perfect.
