Description

An unforgettable memoir, and powerful personal journey. More than just a good autobiography. Crises include early death of parents, dealing with major illnesses, loss of children and more. Using his past as an example, the author has produced a unique developmental learning tool the reader will find insightful, effective and even funny, to better deal with adversity. As the author puts it: I've led a pretty full and unusual life, which you may find interesting, relevant and helpful vis-a-vis your own situation. I've experienced numerous twists and turns, ongoing jolts - both up and down - and lots of learning. You may not agree with all my conclusions, but you'll be hard pressed to classify this book as dull. Many of my recommendations you will have heard already. This stuff isn't rocket science - just my attempt to forge an effective learning tool. A valid point is a valid point, even if not wholly new. Hopefully, some of them will be new for you. Ok, so how to deliver value by writing about one's life? When I say 'deliver value', one way to think of it is to better understand how you got to where you are today so you can use it as a point of departure going forward. Putting the details of your major life experiences on paper forces you to organize and examine the content critically, so as to decide what did/didn't work about a choice within the context of the whole experience. That's essentially the process I used to develop my recommendations. Naturally I've also bounced my ideas off others to determine whether and how our opinions compared. Where we aligned, we aligned. Where we didn't, it became obvious they were space aliens (only kidding). As for the presentation of the material, I'm authoring it anonymously to retain privacy for all concerned.
