The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) received a request for a health hazard evaluation at the Alcee Fortier Senior High School (AFSHS) in New Orleans, Louisiana. Employees were concerned about exposures to mold and lead paint. The employees reported difficulty breathing, chronic sinusitis, and immune system problems. This report contains NIOSH's findings and recommendations.
