About the Author


Jackson Speed was raised in San Antonio, Texas. After high school he joined the Army and was soon promoted to Lieutenant. He served a tour in Vietnam and then returned to Texas where he graduated from the University of Texas - Austin and St. Mary's Law School, San Antonio. He practiced law for 25 years and then retired to writing about food. He is a dual citizen of Australia and the US, and divides his time between them.
