The treatment of Africans, Native Americans, and Hispanics does not hold back from their troubling experiences in the belief that partial truth is no truth at all.

The objective is to leave the reader with a balanced approach aimed at young people to reinforce love of country and an understanding that our long and unique experiment in democracy had been, and will remain, a work in progress.

New material focuses on our 21st-century struggle with energy and climate challenges.
