I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I moved to Corpus Christi, Texas, with "Peter Pan" when my sons were infants and I soon found myself abandoned with two small young men to raise on my own with no support (the younger having been diagnosed as suffering from ADHD). This son is now happy, healthy and successful. I am happy to say that he now uses his food as medication and his physical and musical abilities to keep him focused and well-balanced. I wrote this book about him when we were younger and struggling. I've done, been, studied and researched many things in this lifetime. Professionally, I've been the Executive Assistant/Secretary to the president and his staff for one of the largest corporations in the world. After moving to South Texas, I created and worked many jobs to nurture and support my sons, serve my community and nurture myself as best I could while searching for balance in our lives. Some of those jobs were being the Executive Assistant to the Pastor of a mainline church, Administrative Assistant to three companies that were Nashville bound, a published poet, a grief counselor and a Real Love Coach. I am also coached by someone who specializes in Complex PTSD and I assist others who suffer from Complex PTSD. Without this training and help I could have never realized that my multiple traumas throughout my life were preventing me from being truly loving, truly loved and truly healed. Hence, I am finally able to publish "Up-Side-Down" Triangle. I've added notes for adults, written by Devon MacEachron, PhD which are an invaluable resource toward helping those with neurological differences and those who are trying to be in their lives.
