Louis Grassot was a late 18th century Doctor of medicine at the University of Montpellier.
The first edition of his 'La Lumi re tir e du Chaos' was published in 1784, in Amsterdam. This book is based on the remarkable work of the famous alchemist and magistrate, Jean d'Espagnet, entitled 'l'Ouvrage secret de la Philosophie d'Herm s', Paris, 1651.
