Stock is a law student at the Alexander Blewett III School of Law in the state of Montana. He is a professional writer with experience in news writing and legal research, having started his career in 2017 as an intern reporter for Utah Public Radio. Writing creatively, including poetry, has been a lifelong pursuit for Stock. Although originally from northern Utah, his family hails from the American Southwest. Stock is a half-blooded member of the Navajo Nation.
